The Cardiff University Research Opportunities Programme (CUROP) offers a grant to support a student on a placement of up to eight weeks duration, working with supervision on staff-defined research projects. It is now one of the largest undergraduate research opportunities programmes for undergraduates in the UK, funding over 140 placements in 2013.
